在调研座谈会上，华方新能源总经理伍春银介绍称，华方新能源早在2008年之前就进入了全球光伏跟踪领域，2012年开始布局全面进入光热市场，在此之前已与国际多家光热企业配套示范电站的建设，2014年与美国百年传动企业ConeDrive实行并购，引进其双包络传动技术，实现了技术和运营管理能力的双向提升。

伍春银介绍称，回转减速机的数量与采用的定日镜设计直接相关，同等装机的光热电站，定日镜面积越小，数量越多，则需要的减速机数量越多。一台定日镜一般需要配装至少一台减速机。针对20平方米左右的小型定日镜，镜场在整体安装时可操作性较强，后期维护也便捷，而对100平方米以上的大镜面在安装时相对比较困难，安装成本会大幅上升。
